Tanya Marie is a dynamic leader in the fields of mental health, advocacy, and empowerment. With over 15 years of experience inspiring individuals and strengthening communities, she employs a trauma-informed, strength based approach in every environment she enters. As the founder of Living Proof Resiliency Counseling Services, La'Tanya is committed to transforming personal pain into collective healing. She helps others transition from merely surviving to truly thriving while creating opportunities for both individual and organizational transformation.
Her purpose-driven work is rooted in the belief that everyone possesses resilience. With compassionate guidance and the right support, individuals can access their inner strength to overcome even the most difficult circumstances. A passionate advocate for traditionally merginlized communities, La'Tanya raises the voices of those often unheard, paving the way for equity, wellness, and a true sense of belonging.
Tanya holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Counseling Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development, and Chi Sigma lots.
And the excitement doesnt stop there! She is thrilled to announce her upcoming role as a Clinical Supervisor with LHBM Legacy LLC beginning September 15, 2025. The mission of LHBM- empowering youth and families through mentorship and holistic support- perfectly aligns with La'Tanya's vision for healing and growth. Together, they will work tirelessly to ensure that every child has the safety, nurturing, and guidance they need to not just survive, but to truly thrive!
