Get to know Zachary

I've always been someone who leads from the heart. That's just who I am, and it's been that way my whole life.

I'm not perfect, and I've never tried to pretend that I am. I've made mistakes, broken a few rules, dealt with the consequences of my actions, and tried to learn from every one of them. I wasn't always right, and I didn't always take the easiest path, but every challenge, every lesson, and every setback helped shape the man I am today.

I'm originally from Jackson, Mississippi, and that's where so much of who I am was shaped. The people, the culture, the love, the struggles, and the challenges all played a part in making me who I am. I truly believe life and its challenges are meant to be faced every day. The choice we have is how we face them, and I strive to face mine in the image of God.

Working with kids and families means so much to me because I was that kid. There were people who stepped into my life, believed in me, loved me, and helped guide me when I needed it most. Their impact taught me something I'll never forget—to give back. Not by copying someone else's way, but by doing it my way, the way God placed on my heart.

I started LHBM because I wanted to create a place where children and families could experience genuine relationships, accountability, and unconditional love. As my journey continued, Taylor became my partner in every sense of the word. I chose to give her 50% of what I built because we are one. Together, we continue to grow the vision while staying true to the mission of leading with love.

More than anything, I hope people feel loved when they walk through our doors. I hope they feel encouraged to be their unique selves, knowing they don't have to pretend to fit in or become someone they're not. My prayer is that every child, every family, and every person we serve leaves knowing they are valued, capable, and deeply loved.
